How to enable TanDad

Duplicate Address Detection (DAD) is utilized to identify duplicate IP addresses, as the name implies. It primarily identifies duplications on Node IP addresses and service IP addresses. End device duplication will not be detected.

To enable DAD:

  1. Login to the Secure edge by username and password
  2. Navigate to Manage Node and from the dropdown select Edit.
  3. Turn on Duplicate Address Detection. Also, can customize time interval for the scan.
  4. Click on update as highlighted below.
