RDP Login Errors

This article explains common Remote Desktop (RDP) login errors to help quickly identify and resolve connection issues.

C301 - Authentication failure (invalid credentials)
This error indicates that the credentials used to access the device are incorrect. Ensure the device administrator has provided the correct login details. You can verify the credentials by logging out of the device locally (onsite) and logging back in. If the local login is successful, the Windows user account may not be a member of the "Remote Desktop Users" group.

T207 - Disconnection issue
This error occurs when the RDP server intermittently drops the connection during an active session. This typically indicates that your internet connection was lost, your session timed out, or another user attempted to log in using the same RDP account.

C207 - Root cause: Device unreachable or authentication failure                                             This error signifies that the remote device is either unreachable over the network or the provided access credentials are incorrect. While the system will automatically attempt to reconnect, if it fails, you should close the window and log back into the main portal. If the issue persists, please contact your system administrator.
